→ The grammar we're going to learn today is ‘눕자마자.’

(in English)

- Nana: Yes, I think that's why I fell asleep right after I lay in bed."

2. Usage

- This expression is a suffix used to indicate that an event or action is immediately followed by another event or action.

3. Example Sentences

✎ 나나: 침대에 눕자마자 바로 잠들었어요. (눕다 + 자마자)

(I fall asleep as soon as I lay in bed.)

- 침대에 누웠어요. + 바로 잠들었어요.

(She lays in bed.) + (Right after, she fell asleep.)

- Here, '눕자마자' is a combination of the verb '눕다' and '자마자.'
